Pinecone Annotate Feature
Pinecone’s annotation tool is another enterprise class tool integrated within Pinecone. Annotate allows users to annotate PPT and PDF documents, highlight text, attach e-sticky notes, or attach voice memos to PPT and PDF documents. This tool is tightly integrated into both the email client as well as the secure file manager, so a user can annotate directly from an attachment and save it as a new PDF directly into their secure file manager. Additional features of Annotate include:
- Make annotations by freehand using the stylus and highlighter tools, or add typed text and e-sticky notes with the text box function.
- Insert extra pages of blank, lined, or grid paper wherever necessary if you need more space to take notes. Palm protection (both left and right-handed) is also supported.
- Insert voice recordings rather than text to annotate your documents. Annotate automatically tracks what page the audio should be assigned to in the new PDF.
- When annotation is complete, Pinecone provides the user a simple process to save directly to file manager or attach the new PDF to an email using the compose email interface.
