Data Communications Software Developer:
Little Red Wagon Technologies is seeking a Data Communications Software Developer to join the core development team responsible for our entire product suite. LRW develops a centrally managed platform for the secure transport of data and e-mail between the enterprise messaging systems and PDAs.
The responsibilities of a Communications Software Developer at LRW include:
- Analyzing business requirements provided by the Product Management team and generating technical designs.
- Developing high quality code on schedule.
- Performing unit testing and working closely with the QA team on system testing and bug resolution.
- Contributing to the LRW development team by researching new technology and development tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in developing TCP/IP and/or UDP/IP data transports.
- Experience with writing multi-tier applications requiring segmentation and reassembly (SAR) of content.
- 3+ years experience in building commercial software in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, or Java.
- In depth understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
- Experience developing FIPS-compliant security applications a plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Pocket PC, BlackBerry Java, Palm OS5, Symbian.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
Customer Support Engineer:
Little Red Wagon Technologies is seeking an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our growing support organization headquartered in Baltimore, MD. LRW develops a centrally managed platform for the secure transport of data and e-mail between enterprise messaging systems and PDAs.
The responsibilities of a Customer Support Engineer at LRW include:
- Solving complex problems in multi-component (client/carrier network/wireless relay/middleware server/content server) enterprise communications solutions.
- Providing product support of active and installed software configurations and associated user problems.
- Contributing to solutions database.
- Providing assistance in developing methods to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in the custom solution package
- Providing problem descriptions, definitions, and limitation conditions for solution sets.
- Traveling to customer premises to provide installation and post installation support as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience providing support within a highly technical customer service / technical support environment.
- Extensive exposure to Microsoft server class operating systems and their administrative methods
- Exposure to and familiarity with administration of Microsoft Exchange - versions 5.5, 2000 and 2003.
- Proven ability to rapidly define and resolve customer issues.
- Documented work history of broad knowledge of heterogeneous hardware/software configurations and addressing associated user problems.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Pocket PC, BlackBerry Java, Palm OS5, or Symbian.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function as part of a team of professional support personnel.
Software Test Engineer:
Little Red Wagon Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our growing organization headquartered in Baltimore, MD. LRW develops a centrally managed platform for the secure transport of data and e-mail between enterprise messaging systems and PDAs.
The responsibilities of a Software Test Engineer at LRW include:
- Development and implementation of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts, as well as data collection, data analysis, and creation of test defects, summaries and reports.
- Verifying bug reports submitted by Technical Support personnel.
- Interfacing directly with Software Development team members.
- Acting as liaison between Technical Support personnel and Development Team.
- Training less senior engineers in test processes, testing practices and test tools as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Windows NT/2000 software test experience.
- Visual C/C++/C# software test experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Pocket PC, BlackBerry Java, Palm OS5, or Symbian.

Senior Programmer:
LRW is seeking full time candidates with a thorough knowledge of C/C++. A minimum of 5 years experience as a programmer is required. He/she will be responsible for designing and developing software applications and working with a junior team of developers. He/She will work in a fast-paced environment with tight development schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong C/C++/C# coding experience required.
- Experience architecting and designing new software applications.
- Database application development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience programming in a wireless and/or network environment.
- Experience programming handheld devices.
- Experience programming server based applications.
